RCF’s Family Planning
initiative with ACDA and Planned Parenthood International
RCF has just renewed its commitment to family planning and reproductive health in the Amazon with a program for the Tahuayo River from May 2008 through May 2009 with Planned Parenthood International. The work is carried out by the Asociación de Conservación y Desarrollo Amazónico (ACDA) of Iquitos, Peru. ACDA is RCF’s "sister" conservation group in Peru that we fund to carry out this important work. To read more about this project, click on the Planned Parenthood button below.
RCF is now funding a larger
portion of this project than we did in 2007. We now face
increasing costs in Peru. Our share of this project is $15,000.
