TRAVEL WITH US TO THE PERUVIAN AMAZON: JUNE 7-16, 2008!
(Extensions available before or after, to Machu Picchu or the Galapagos)

Perhaps you have long planned to visit a rainforest one day. Why not the planet's grandest ecosystem? Biologists consistently suggest that biodiversity peaks in the northwest Amazon with more than 500 species of birds, 1000 tree species, countless flowering plants, 100 species of mammals and innumerable frogs, fish, reptiles and spectacular butterflies. Many of these creatures remain unknown to science while huge sections of rainforest fall every second of every day. There will never be a better time than now to visit the rainforest.

Chicago's Rainforest Conservation Fund (RCF) invites you to join our June 2008 Expedition to the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Reserve. We depart Chicago for Lima, Peru, on a Saturday in early June and return to Chicago, 8 days later. Those wishing to extend visits may move on to Machu Picchu, the Galapagos, or other locales before returning on individual schedules. Machu Picchu extension- $1095 (single supplement $200).

Our one-week expedition includes, ground travel, food, accommodations, customized daily guidance and several special events for $1805 per person. Those who sign on before March 1 will receive a $100 discount. Travelers may make their own international flight arrangements or contact Amazonia Expeditions for assistance.
